Adobe uses commission sales people in countries like India that only have the power to sell but contact you on the guise of customer service. So after hearing their sales pitch about wanting to help you and wondering if you have any problems, they are unable to help you and have to transfer you to another person unless you adding new commission eligible product. Make sure not to trust these sales people to apply refunds in a timely manner, because users report lack of follow through for anything except new business signups.
An example is accepting a call from Adobe to upgrade your services and being promised a pro-rated refund for existing prepaid services if you sign up on the new higher cost plan. Then months of delays and the refund not being applied.
